A is for Anxiety

Well, here it is April 1st, start of the A-to-Z blogging challenge and you would think I would have learned to write ahead and have posts ‘banked’ so there is no panic. But, true to form, there is no banking of posts because I have been distracted by a bazillion other things when I should have been here writing. Nevertheless, I am here. I am blogging. It is challenging.

So, the first quarter of 2017 has come and gone. I am not quite sure where the time went. Business-wise, Q1 was not a winner. Hoping that Q2 is better.

Anyhow, the idea behind the A-to-Z blogging challenge, for those who haven’t been here before when I’ve done this, is that you start, beginning April First,  with a topic themed on something with the letter A, then on April second another topic with the letter B as the theme, and so on until you finish on April thirtieth with the theme based on the letter Z.  The theme of the day is the letter scheduled for that day. But there are only 26 letters and 30 days in April, so you get Sundays off (unless the 1st happens to be a Sunday).

Anyhow, I am anxious about whether or not I can actually do this because it requires self-discipline and that’s truly a challenge for me because of anxiety about things like ‘is this post really good enough’?  and ‘is my blog just really a cure for insomnia?’

I guess we will answer those questions as the month goes on. If you’re new to the blog – Welcome. Hope you’ll be back!

  2. Anxiety drains creativity (or it can), so i hope you can ditch it and find your groove as you blog A to Z this month!
