Another Coffeehouse Wednedsay

Once again, back at the SBux and indulging in a Caramel Flan Frappucino.  Which is not healthy by any stretch of the imagination, but… it’s damn tasty and I am not complaining.

Next week is going to be very busy work-wise. And, honestly, I should likely be home tonight doing work but I am pretty sure that I will not be doing this after March is over (going out and doing social stuff) since the friend I do this with is moving. So, I guess this is “Carpe Frappucino”! *grin

I need to do more cleaning at home, as well.  I have done little bits but we need to get the old bookshelves down and get some new bookshelves.  I do need to run the vacuum around but there never seems to be a good time for that.  During the day, Mr. POSSLQ is sleeping and in the evenings it gets to be too late (I suppose I could be “that” neighbor… the kind I hate – no consideration for anyone else).   On weekends, I want to be enjoying the weekend, not running around with the vacuum cleaner.  Of course, this way of thinking is how things never get done.  Another of those places where having an intellectual understanding and having emotional buy-in don’t necessarily meet.

I am assuming that I will be up fairly late making up for lost time when I get home.   Which is fine. I didn’t get a LOT of sleep today but I seem to be doing ok awakeness-wise (at least at the moment) but I am also feeling the beginnings of some sort of illness creeping in, so I will have to make sure that I nip it in the bud.  I am not surprised that I am feeling the beginnings of an illness as poor Mr.POSSLQ has been sniffly and coughing for a few days now.  I guess there are advantages to almost never leaving the house (for me)… less germy folk to have to interact with.

Tomorrow (Thursday) the FCC will be voting on Net Neutrality.  If we lose free, open Internet, it has the potential to very negatively impact my livelihood.  The thought of going back to work at a corporate job is very unappealing.  I love what I do.

To wrap up on a light note – go check this out –
