True Colours

The other day I dyed my hair. Not unusual for me, I’ve been doing it since I was about 15 years old. But I did a dark red and some purple.  Halfway through, I realized that I had a “virtual christmas party” with a client the next day AND was going out with a friend the next evening.  It was, at that point, pretty much too late to stop so I merrily continued on with my colouring and just decided not to worry about it.  No one said anything the next day… don’t know if it went unnoticed or people just expect me to be odd.

I’ve been thinking a great deal about what I want to do here on the blog in 2016.  I have been rolling around a number of ideas in my head and will be working on ironing out details as this year winds down.

I’m not going to lie….this month has been a little rough. I am not even sure why, I just know that something has felt a bit “off”.  I also came to the conclusion, over the last couple of days, that I keep counting on some people and they’re just not “there” anymore (Mr. POSSLQ, however, has been stellar!) and I just need to let go and move on.

The next couple of months are going to be really busy, mostly in good ways but, honestly, in some pretty stressful ways, as well.

Got a new keyboard for Christmas, having to re-learn to type a bit because it’s an ergonomic keyboard and so hopefully it will help keep me from getting weird stuff going on with my hands and wrists.

Hoping that you are all well and that we will all have a stellar 2016!

  1. I always love seeing your posts in my feed. Just thought you should know. I’m wondering–how does one do a “virtual” Christmas party? Sometimes I miss blogging, just to connect with people I’ve been following forever. Digging out from the storm from hell over here–hope you and yours are safe. I got a new keyboard too! I’ve been wanting a mechanical keyboard forever, and lo, it is awesome 🙂 Take care in the new year, I’ll be reading 🙂
